《生物系統雜志》創刊于1993年，由《世界科學》季刊出版。該雜志的目標是“促進生物學和醫學的跨學科方法，以及用各種工具研究生物學情況，包括數學和一般系統方法。”它包括關于復雜系統研究的文章，生物學和醫學的跨學科方法，環境研究，進化生物學，醫學系統，數值模擬和計算，和流行病學。

The Journal of Biological Systems was founded in 1993 and is published quarterly by World Scientific.The journal aims to "promote interdisciplinary approaches in Biology and in Medicine, and the study of biological situations with a variety of tools, including mathematical and general systems methods." It includes articles on complex systems studies, interdisciplinary approaches in biology and medicine, environmental studies, evolutionary biology, medical systems, numerical simulations and computations, and epidemiology.
