皮膚病學治療已經被創建來填補皮膚病學文獻中的一個重要空白:缺乏關于特定皮膚疾病的治療和特定治療模式的實際應用的及時可用的最新信息來源。該雜志的每一期都將包括一系列學術評論文章，由皮膚科的領導者撰寫，在這些文章中，他們用非常具體的術語描述了他們如何治療特定的皮膚疾病，以及他們如何使用特定的治療藥物。每一期所包含的信息將是如此實用和詳細，讀者應該能夠直接將各種治療方法應用于日常臨床情況。由于該出版物的特殊性和實用性，皮膚治療將不僅作為一個現成的資源，為患者的日常治療，但也應證明是一個不斷發展的治療教科書的皮膚疾病的治療。

Dermatologic Therapy has been created to fill an important void in the dermatologic literature: the lack of a readily available source of up-to-date information on the treatment of specific cutaneous diseases and the practical application of specific treatment modalities. Each issue of the journal will consist of a series of scholarly review articles written by leaders in dermatology in which they describe, in very specific terms, how they treat particular cutaneous diseases and how they use specific therapeutic agents. The information contained in each issue will be so practical and detailed that the reader should be able to directly apply various treatment approaches to daily clinical situations. Because of the specific and practical nature of this publication, Dermatologic Therapy will not only serve as a readily available resource for the day-to-day treatment of patients, but should also prove to be an evolving therapeutic textbook for the treatment of dermatologic diseases.
