目的與范圍細胞生理學和生物化學是一個多學科的科學論壇，致力于推進基礎細胞研究的前沿。它涉及生理和生化學科以及相關領域的科學家，如遺傳學、分子生物學、病理生理學、病理生物化學和細胞毒理學和藥理學。本文綜述了細胞內傳遞、細胞代謝、細胞生長、分化和死亡、離子通道和載體以及細胞體積的維持、調節和干擾等機制。《細胞生理學和生物化學》每月發表在同行評議會上，在協調一致的國際努力中發揮著積極作用，以揭示細胞功能的機制。提交只考慮英文原稿和評論文章。手稿應通過電子郵件提交至以下電子郵件地址：郵箱：cellular@physologie.uni-tuebingen.de通過電子郵件發送的手稿將在3周內作出決定。在他們的求職信中，作者應該列出他們認為最有能力評論這篇論文的4-6位科學家。非細胞生理學和生物化學編輯委員會成員的科學家應提供完整地址（包括傳真號碼和/或電子郵件地址）。

Aims and ScopeCellular Physiology and Biochemistry is a multidisciplinary scientific forum dedicated to advancing the frontiers of basic cellular research. It addresses scientists from both the physiological and biochemical disciplines as well as related fields such as genetics, molecular biology, pathophysiology, pathobiochemistry and cellular toxicology & pharmacology. Original papers and reviews on the mechanisms of intracellular transmission, cellular metabolism, cell growth, differentiation and death, ion channels and carriers, and the maintenance, regulation and disturbances of cell volume are presented. Appearing monthly under peer review, ''Cellular Physiology and Biochemistry takes an active role in the concerted international effort to unravel the mechanisms of cellular function.SubmissionOnly original papers and review articles written in English are considered.Manuscripts should be submitted by e-mail to the following e-mail address:cellular@physiologie.uni-tuebingen.deDecisions on manuscripts sent by e-mail will be made in less than 3 weeks. In their cover letter, the authors should list 4–6 scientists whom they consider most competent to review the paper. Full address (including fax number and/or e-mail address) should be given for scientists who are not editorial board members of Cellular Physiology and Biochemistry .
