發(fā)表在《印度動物科學(xué)雜志》上的文章涵蓋了與牛、水牛、綿羊、山羊、駱駝、馬、豬、兔子、牦牛、米頓、家禽和漁業(yè)有關(guān)的動物健康和生產(chǎn)的廣泛研究主題。涉及野生動物物種和實驗動物物種的研究，涉及它們生物學(xué)的基本問題，也將被考慮出版。所有稿件必須有新的發(fā)展，必須是原創(chuàng)的、及時的、有意義的、科學(xué)優(yōu)秀的。如果動物的護理標(biāo)準(zhǔn)或程序不符合人道獸醫(yī)科學(xué)家的要求，論文將被拒絕。至少，標(biāo)準(zhǔn)必須符合國際醫(yī)學(xué)科學(xué)組織理事會發(fā)布的涉及動物的生物醫(yī)學(xué)研究的國際指導(dǎo)原則。(C.I.O.M.S.， c/o WHO, CH 1211日內(nèi)瓦27，瑞士)。報道新動物疾病的文章必須遵循《政府指令》(GOI)，具體內(nèi)容見《作者指南》(Guidelines to Authors)。

Articles published in The Indian Journal of Animal Sciences encompass a broad range of research topics in animal health and production related to cattle, buffalo, sheep, goat, camel, equines, pig, rabbit, yak, mithun, poultry and fisheries. Studies involving wildlife species and laboratory animal species that address fundamental questions about their biology will also be considered for publication. All manuscripts must present some new development and must be original, timely, significant and scientifically excellent. Papers will be rejected if standards of care of, or procedures performed on animals are not up to those expected of humane veterinary scientists. At a minimum, standards must meet the International Guiding Principles for Biomedical Research involving Animals, as issued by the Council for International Organizations of Medical Sciences.
