《亞洲建筑與建筑工程雜志》是一本國(guó)際性開(kāi)放期刊，為學(xué)術(shù)和研究機(jī)構(gòu)的研究人員以及建筑行業(yè)的所有從業(yè)人員提供服務(wù)。該雜志由日本建筑學(xué)會(huì)（AIJ）、韓國(guó)建筑學(xué)會(huì)（AIK）和中國(guó)建筑學(xué)會(huì)（ASC）聯(lián)合編輯，每?jī)蓚�(gè)月出版一期。亞洲學(xué)者和專(zhuān)業(yè)人士努力尋找解決亞洲自然、地理、社會(huì)經(jīng)濟(jì)和文化條件所衍生主題的辦法。他們的成就促進(jìn)了建筑和建筑工程領(lǐng)域的研究進(jìn)展。例如，在結(jié)構(gòu)工程方面取得的成就為世界作出了貢獻(xiàn)，發(fā)展了確保地震多發(fā)地區(qū)建筑物安全的技術(shù)。亞洲是世界上人口最多的國(guó)家，城市人口密度高。在建筑活動(dòng)方面，這是一個(gè)不斷發(fā)展和最具活力的領(lǐng)域，為亞洲的建筑師和建筑工程師提供了寶貴的經(jīng)驗(yàn)知識(shí)和經(jīng)驗(yàn)教訓(xùn)。通過(guò)展示語(yǔ)言障礙之外的知識(shí)和教訓(xùn)，為全球建筑和建筑工程做出貢獻(xiàn)是非常重要的。通過(guò)用英語(yǔ)出版這本雜志，人們期望亞洲的智慧和經(jīng)驗(yàn)?zāi)軌騻鞑サ绞澜绺鞯亍Ｔ谶@些機(jī)構(gòu)所在的國(guó)家，建筑專(zhuān)業(yè)可以享受協(xié)作和整體的方法，因?yàn)檫@三個(gè)機(jī)構(gòu)具有與建筑和建筑工程有關(guān)的全部專(zhuān)業(yè)知識(shí)。正因?yàn)槿绱耍�期刊的的范圍涉及科學(xué)、技術(shù)和藝術(shù)的各個(gè)方面。也就是說(shuō)，全球環(huán)境、建筑規(guī)劃設(shè)計(jì)、項(xiàng)目管理、結(jié)構(gòu)工程、結(jié)構(gòu)力學(xué)、建筑材料、環(huán)境工程、信息技術(shù)以及與建筑環(huán)境相關(guān)的其他領(lǐng)域都應(yīng)納入本雜志。與建筑環(huán)境有關(guān)的全球和地方問(wèn)題需要整體的方法。該期刊旨在通過(guò)匯集亞洲國(guó)家以及歐洲、美國(guó)和非洲國(guó)家的新思想和發(fā)展，幫助解決或緩解這些全球和本地問(wèn)題。編輯們歡迎來(lái)自世界各地的高質(zhì)量貢獻(xiàn)。

Journal of Asian Architecture and Building Engineering is a refereed international Open Access journal, serving researchers in academic and research organizations and all practitioners in the building sector. The journal is jointly-edited by the Architectural Institute of Japan (AIJ), the Architectural Institute of Korea (AIK), and the Architectural Society of China (ASC) and published bi-monthly. Asian academics and professionals have made efforts to find solutions to the themes derived from natural, geographical, socio-economical and cultural conditions in Asia. Their achievements have contributed to the evolution of research in the field of architecture and building engineering. For instance, achievements in structural engineering have contributed to the world by developing technology to assure safety of buildings in earthquake-prone areas. Asia has the largest share of the world's population with high densities in urban areas. It is a growing and the most energetic region in terms of building activities, which produces valuable empirical knowledge and lessons to architects and building engineers in Asia. It is quite significant to contribute to global architecture and building engineering by presenting the knowledge and lessons beyond linguistic barriers. By publishing the journal in English, it is expected that Asian wisdom and experience will be disseminated to the world. In the countries where these institutions are based, building professions can enjoy the collaborative and holistic approach because the three institutions distinctively possess the whole range of expertise relating to architecture and building engineering. In virtue of these, the scope of the journal involves the aspects of science, technology and art. Namely, the global environment, architectural planning and design, project management, structural engineering, structural mechanics, building materials, environmental engineering, information technology, and other fields related to built environment should be included in this journal. Global and local problems relating to built environment require holistic approach. The journal aims to contribute to resolve or mitigate these global and local problems by bringing together new ideas and developments from Asian countries as well as European, American and African countries. The editors welcome good quality contributions from all over the world.
