《蘇格蘭醫(yī)學(xué)雜志》每年出版四次，致力于出版醫(yī)學(xué)各分支的原始調(diào)查報(bào)告、評(píng)論文章、醫(yī)學(xué)興趣的歷史主題和臨床備忘錄。論文被接受發(fā)表的條件是，它們只提供給本雜志，并成為蘇格蘭醫(yī)學(xué)雜志的財(cái)產(chǎn)。蘇格蘭醫(yī)學(xué)雜志包括愛丁堡醫(yī)學(xué)雜志(創(chuàng)建于1805年)和格拉斯哥醫(yī)學(xué)雜志(創(chuàng)建于1828年)。

The Scottish Medical Journal is published four times per year and is devoted to the publication of original investigations in all branches of medicine, review articles, historical subjects of medical interest, and clinical memoranda. Papers are accepted for publication on condition that they are offered to this journal alone and that they become the property of the Scottish Medical Journal. Scottish Medical Journal incorporates Edinburgh Medical Journal (founded 1805) and The Glasgow Medical Journal (founded 1828).
