《無機(jī)化學(xué)評論》旨在作為一種工具，對無機(jī)化學(xué)最近的重要發(fā)展進(jìn)行簡明而權(quán)威的批判性討論。通過這些“評論”的媒介，編輯們希望使無機(jī)化學(xué)某個(gè)特定領(lǐng)域(合成、結(jié)構(gòu)、光譜學(xué)、動(dòng)力學(xué)和機(jī)理、理論)的專家更容易、更有吸引力地了解其他領(lǐng)域的有趣工作。該雜志不僅面向無機(jī)化學(xué)家，也面向非無機(jī)化學(xué)家、生物學(xué)家和物理學(xué)家。“評論”是一個(gè)專家指南，可以幫助你了解各個(gè)領(lǐng)域的重要進(jìn)展，而這些進(jìn)展往往會(huì)被本已龐大且不斷增長的文獻(xiàn)所忽略。每一篇文章都傳達(dá)了作者的個(gè)人意見和觀點(diǎn)。我們會(huì)不時(shí)就專題會(huì)議發(fā)表意見。所有的稿件都由編輯們征集。

Comments on Inorganic Chemistry is intended as a vehicle for concisely and authoritatively written critical discussions of recent important developments in inorganic chemistry. Through the medium of these "Comments" the editors hope to make it easy and enticing for the specialist in a given area of inorganic chemistry -- synthesis, structure, spectroscopy, kinetics and mechanisms, theory -- to learn about interesting work in other areas. The journal is meant not only for the inorganic chemist but non-inorganic chemists, biologists and physicists as well. A "Comment" is an expert guide to the important progress in individual fields -- progress that is frequently lost in the already vast and growing literature. Each article conveys the author's personal comments and point of view. From time to time, comments on topical conferences will be included. All contributions are solicited by the editors.
