《超聲成像》每季出版一次，為關注超聲技術發展和應用的原創和優秀論文提供快速出版服務，重點是醫學診斷。超聲成像發表以下領域的文章:先進成像方法和儀器的理論和實驗方面多普勒測量信號處理模式識別新技術的臨床評價tissue-parameter測量超聲-組織相互作用的機制傳感器技術校準和標準tissue-mimicking幻影彈性測量光聲學和聲光技術除了完整的論文，該雜志還出版研究筆記、發表在期刊上的論文評論、書評和偶爾的評論文章。本雜志是出版倫理委員會(COPE)的成員之一。

Published Quarterly, Ultrasonic Imaging provides rapid publication for original and exceptional papers concerned with the development and application of ultrasonic techniques, with emphasis on medical diagnosis. Ultrasonic Imaging publishes articles in the following areas: theoretical and experimental aspects of advanced methods and instrumentation for imaging Doppler measurements signal processing pattern recognition clinical evaluation of new techniques tissue-parameter measurements mechanisms of ultrasound-tissue interactions transducer technology calibration and standards tissue-mimicking phantoms elasticity measurements photoacoustic and acousto-optic technologiesIn addition to full-length papers, the journal publishes research notes, comments on papers appearing in the journal, book reviews, and occasional review articles. This journal is a member of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
