《植物生態學雜志》(JPE)是一本雙月刊的同行評議的植物生態學雜志。JPE是生態學家展示研究成果和討論植物及其與生物和非生物環境相互作用這一廣闊領域的挑戰性問題的重要媒介。在JPE上發表的原創研究論文、綜述和簡短交流將涵蓋植物生態學的各個方面，包括植物生態生理學、種群生態學、群落生態學、生態系統生態學和景觀生態學以及保護生態學、進化生態學和理論生態學。JPE收錄了植物生態學前沿領域(包括全球變化、入侵物種、生物多樣性和生態系統功能等)的專題，并由該領域的主要生態學家撰寫評論。

Journal of Plant Ecology ( JPE ) is a bi-monthly, peer-reviewed journal of plant ecology. JPE serves as an important medium for ecologists to present research findings and discuss challenging issues in the broad field of plants and their interactions with biotic and abiotic environment. Original research articles, reviews and short communications published in JPE will cover all aspects of plant ecology, including plant ecophysiology, population ecology, community ecology, ecosystem ecology and landscape ecology as well as conservation ecology, evolutionary ecology, and theoretical ecology. JPE includes special issues/features focusing on the frontiers (including global change, invasive species, biodiversity and ecosystem functioning, etc.) in plant ecology with reviews written by the leading ecologists in the field.
