《流體與結構雜志》在任何領域都是與流體-結構相互作用和相關系統動力學有關的各種專家和實踐者交流思想的焦點和論壇。它的目標之一是在涉及的各個學科中促進思想、方法和技術的交叉融合。期刊發表了一些論文，這些論文對流體和固體之間的機械相互作用的各個方面都做出了原創和重要的貢獻，無論其規模如何。

The Journal of Fluids and Structures serves as a focal point and a forum for the exchange of ideas, for the many kinds of specialists and practitioners concerned with fluid–structure interactions and the dynamics of systems related thereto, in any field. One of its aims is to foster the cross–fertilization of ideas, methods and techniques in the various disciplines involved.The journal publishes papers that present original and significant contributions on all aspects of the mechanical interactions between fluids and solids, regardless of scale.
