The goal of the journal is to publish original research findings that contribute to our knowledge about the composition, properties, and performance of materials for tissue engineering and regenerative medicine. Recognizing the advances in Biomedical Materials being made throughout the world, the journal will seek to serve as a vehicle for dissemination of work conducted internationally.Typical areas of interest include:Synthesis/characterization of biomedical materialsIn vitro/in vivo performance of biomedical materialsNature-inspired synthesis/biomineralizationTissue engineering/regenerative medicine applicationsInteraction of molecules/cells with materialsEffects of biomaterials on stem cell behaviourGrowth factors/genes incorporated into biomaterials
