《IEEE模式分析和機(jī)器智能交易》發(fā)表了有關(guān)計(jì)算機(jī)視覺和圖像理解的所有傳統(tǒng)領(lǐng)域、模式分析和識別的所有傳統(tǒng)領(lǐng)域以及機(jī)器智能的選定領(lǐng)域的文章，特別強(qiáng)調(diào)用于模式分析的機(jī)器學(xué)習(xí)。還包括視覺搜索、文檔和手寫分析、醫(yī)學(xué)圖像分析、視頻和圖像序列分析、基于內(nèi)容的圖像和視頻檢索、人臉和手勢識別以及相關(guān)的專用硬件和/或軟件架構(gòu)等領(lǐng)域。

The IEEE Transactions on Pattern Analysis and Machine Intelligence publishes articles on all traditional areas of computer vision and image understanding, all traditional areas of pattern analysis and recognition, and selected areas of machine intelligence, with a particular emphasis on machine learning for pattern analysis. Areas such as techniques for visual search, document and handwriting analysis, medical image analysis, video and image sequence analysis, content-based retrieval of image and video, face and gesture recognition and relevant specialized hardware and/or software architectures are also covered.
