《南方森林》:《森林科學(xué)雜志》是南半球領(lǐng)先的林業(yè)期刊之一。該雜志在南半球和熱帶出版關(guān)于森林科學(xué)和快速生長、種植或天然森林管理的科學(xué)文章。還鼓勵(lì)有關(guān)學(xué)科的論文，例如林業(yè)的環(huán)境方面、社會(huì)林業(yè)、農(nóng)林業(yè)、森林工程和管理以及整個(gè)森林所產(chǎn)生的商品和服務(wù)。該期刊發(fā)表的文章對森林工作者、資源管理者和整個(gè)社會(huì)都有價(jià)值。該雜志特別鼓勵(lì)南美、非洲和熱帶/亞熱帶的大洋洲和亞洲的貢獻(xiàn)。該雜志的出版得到了南部非洲林業(yè)研究所的支持。《南方森林》:《森林科學(xué)雜志》經(jīng)南非高等教育和培訓(xùn)部認(rèn)可。

Southern Forests: a Journal of Forest Science is one of the leading forestry journals in the Southern Hemisphere. The journal publishes scientific articles in forest science and management of fast-growing, planted or natural forests in the Southern Hemisphere and the tropics. Papers are also encouraged on related disciplines such as environmental aspects of forestry, social forestry, agroforestry, forest engineering and management as well as the goods and services that are derived from forests as a whole. Articles published by the journal are of value to foresters, resource managers and society at large. The journal particularly encourages contributions from South America, Africa and tropical/subtropical Australasia and Asia. Publication of the journal is supported by the Southern African Institute of Forestry. Southern Forests: a Journal of Forest Science is Accredited by the Department of Higher Education and Training (South Africa).
