《國(guó)際工程科學(xué)雜志》不僅限于科學(xué)和工程的一個(gè)特定方面，而是致力于工程科學(xué)中廣泛的子領(lǐng)域。雖然它鼓勵(lì)在工程科學(xué)領(lǐng)域做出廣泛的貢獻(xiàn)，但它的核心興趣在于有關(guān)材料建模和響應(yīng)的問(wèn)題。特別歡迎跨學(xué)科性質(zhì)的文章。新編輯的首要目標(biāo)是保持高質(zhì)量的出版物。將承諾加快發(fā)表論文所需的時(shí)間。送審的文章將刪除作者姓名，以提高審查過(guò)程的客觀性和公平性。不鼓勵(lì)專門(mén)討論純數(shù)學(xué)方面的文章，而不討論結(jié)果的物理含義或考慮具體的例子。有關(guān)材料科學(xué)的文章不應(yīng)僅限于對(duì)觀察結(jié)果的描述和記錄，而應(yīng)包含對(duì)結(jié)果的理論或定量討論。該雜志將不時(shí)發(fā)表評(píng)論文章，并針對(duì)工程科學(xué)的某一特定子領(lǐng)域提出一些特殊問(wèn)題。如果作者想提交一篇評(píng)論文章或出版一本特別的期刊，我們鼓勵(lì)他們聯(lián)系編輯。編輯保留拒絕論文而不將其送審的權(quán)利。

The International Journal of Engineering Science is not limited to a specific aspect of science and engineering but is instead devoted to a wide range of subfields in the engineering sciences. While it encourages a broad spectrum of contribution in the engineering sciences, its core interest lies in issues concerning material modeling and response. Articles of interdisciplinary nature are particularly welcome.The primary goal of the new editors is to maintain high quality of publications. There will be a commitment to expediting the time taken for the publication of the papers. The articles that are sent for reviews will have names of the authors deleted with a view towards enhancing the objectivity and fairness of the review process.Articles that are devoted to the purely mathematical aspects without a discussion of the physical implications of the results or the consideration of specific examples are discouraged. Articles concerning material science should not be limited merely to a description and recording of observations but should contain theoretical or quantitative discussion of the results.From time to time, the Journal will publish review articles and bring out special issues on a specific sub-field of engineering science. Authors are encouraged to contact the Editors if they would like to submit a review article or bring out a special issue of the Journal.The Editors reserve the right to reject papers without sending them out for review.
