《麻省理工學(xué)院科技評(píng)論》是麻省理工學(xué)院全資擁有的雜志，但編輯獨(dú)立于麻省理工學(xué)院。它成立于1899年，當(dāng)時(shí)名為《技術(shù)評(píng)論》(Technology Review)， 1998年4月23日在當(dāng)時(shí)的出版人r·布魯斯·Journey的指導(dǎo)下重新推出，沒有使用“The”這個(gè)詞。2005年9月，在時(shí)任主編兼出版人杰森?龐丁(Jason Pontin)的領(lǐng)導(dǎo)下，《時(shí)代》雜志經(jīng)歷了另一次轉(zhuǎn)型，轉(zhuǎn)型形式類似于《時(shí)代》雜志。

MIT Technology Review is a magazine wholly owned by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, but editorially independent of the university.[3] It was founded in 1899 as The Technology Review,[4] and was re-launched without "The" in its name on April 23, 1998 under then publisher R. Bruce Journey. In September 2005, it underwent another transition under its then editor-in-chief and publisher, Jason Pontin, to a form resembling the historical magazine.
